Belarusian and Turkmen companies discussed potential contracts for the supply of high-quality fresh fruits and vegetables from Turkmenistan to Belarus, as reported by the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Wednesday following a business mission to Ashgabat.
The issue was discussed during the 24th universal International Exhibition “White City Ashgabat,” held in honor of City Day. The exhibition served as an effective platform for establishing direct business contacts and conducting negotiations.
As part of the business program, the Belarusian delegation visited several modern Turkmen enterprises, where they learned about advanced strawberry cultivation technologies, innovative polypropylene bag production lines, and rapidly developing construction materials manufacturing. These visits helped foster mutual understanding and identify opportunities for cooperation.
Belarusian companies also presented competitive products that generated strong interest among Turkmen partners. Discussions focused on the supply of high-tech medical equipment and devices, as well as reliable railway automation and telemechanics systems.
Additionally, Belarusian companies are considering placing orders in Turkmenistan for the production of plastic goods using molds developed in Belarus.
